APPLY! Ocean Heroes Caribbean Bootcamp

Ocean Heroes Network (cofounded by Captain Planet Foundation and Lonely Whale) is collaborating with Caribbean youth and NGOs to launch the first ever REGIONAL Ocean Heroes Bootcamp with the goal of engaging youth from across the Caribbean to develop campaigns for the health of our ocean and the Caribbean Sea. 

OHrBC - Caribbean is being organized and developed by Caribbean #OceanHeroes alumni Dejea Lyons, Steff McDermot, and Ben Somerville, and hosted by Plastic Free Cayman and Protect Our Future. Applications for youth between 11-18 in the Caribbean that are passionate about the future of the Caribbean Sea are now open [here]. (NOTE: applications close on December 2nd) 

This FREE and virtual event will take place over two weekends - a kick off on Sunday, December 6th, and then Friday through Sunday, December 11th - 13th. 

Topics of focus are below:

  1. Plastic Pollution - Led by Plastic Free Cayman

  2. Marine Conservation - Led by Guardians of the Reef

  3. Ocean Connection -  Led by Fishes n’ Fins
